What Should I do Next?

Heres the situation im kind of stuck on what i want to do.Ive already paid for my maftpro+wideband combo from the group buy, but then i got to thinking. My long term goal is to go na-t, but short term i want a little bit more than what i have now. The first thought was to say the hell with it and grab some headers. The cons to this is its almost a waste of money.I would get some gains, but once i boost, they become totally useless. Some pros would it would make the car more responsive and it can im prove my mid and toprange power temporarily(only until boost)

Another thing ive thought about was to get a lightweight flywheel and possibly clutch to match.Cons to this is the labor, though i wont be doing the work, i know its a pain in the ass to do. I was thinking a spec flywheel and spec clutch but i couldnt find much about spec flywheels seems as if most are running a fidanza.I would definetly get a clutch that would be ready for boost later on.

I want to get something for my car but im not sure what i want to do, so any suggestions is welcome. But Keep in mind if it could help me long term or short term.

Well, I'm personally eager to see if any other N/As feel the same increase in responsiveness I did.... yes, I'm biased, but not unrealistic. There's responsiveness to be gained for sure, as for HP... mine feels alot stronger, but as I've mentioned before it could just be that my memory of my first AFM (the second wasn't quite right) is skewed.

Other options would be lightening things up a bit, flywheel like you mentioned, 1pc DS and lighter rims. I don't know the specifics of your current system so just ignore this if you've already done those.

I got the aluminin d/s already so that why ive also considered a flywheel, i think it would accent the d/s excellently. And with a better clutch it would be a fun ride.

I'll do your flywheel/clutch work. :icon_bigg

But about the power adders. Go cheap. little gains out of everything. Save and go turbo, then get the stuff that will get you more power from that.

dont do it, your setting yourself a step back by spending money on anything other than a turbo setup. unless your made out of money, in which case we should hang out.

Just a small warning, if you DO get a lightened flywheel, you'll hardly be able to engine brake (especially since you have a aluminum driveshaft).

Thanks for the heads up but m well aware of this, since the d/s alone made a huge difference in engine braking, but ive since gotten used to it:naughty:

catback, intake, testpipe, 1 pcs ds, al flywheel, safc.

past that id just hold off for the na-t

Nice little rule of thumb to go by.Ive got 3 of the 6 parts listed.Minus tuning, but its on its way and a test pipe.Looks like ill be in the market for a flywheel in the upcoming weeks :bigthumb:

Obviously everyone wants to NA-T, but there is nothing wrong if he gets a flywheel, as that will help his car even if he does NA-T.
