What products do you guys/gals use to condition you leather/vinyl interior? Isn't leather products different from vinyl products? Is there a product that will work for both?

I heard "Armoral" has alcohol which will dry, and crack your dash, (with the help of the sun) if you don't use it all the time. It would be nice to get something that won't crack your dash over time.

For the vinyl in mine (dash, handholds, door panels & rear-seat side panels) I used Meguiars #39 Heavy Duty vinyl cleaner followed by their #40 Vinyl & Rubber cleaner/conditioner as my interior hadn't been cleaned literally in years. Took several sessions to get it all clean, but it did a good job by the time I was finished.

For any leather make sure you use a product specifically for leather. One reason the leather interior in most Supra's is trashed is because it was never taken care of properly. Any quality automotive leather cleaner/conditioner will be a good thing though again I'm using the Meguiars stuff.

As for Armor-all I've heard mixed things about it over the years, but I'm staying away from it just in case. IMHO, there's too many other well recommended cleaners out there to use iffy stuff.

I use leather stuff, even on the vinyl!

Doesn't leave it glossy or slick, and cleans it. Works good on the rubber stereo surround piece as well.

Leather should never be glossy, if it's glossy the pores are clogged and it will crack. They need to be cleaned and treated.

I use Turtle Wax "Ice" interior cleaner/conditioner.
Works on all material... Leather, vinyl, etc.

I saw that at Wally World last night, but hadn't heard anything about it or knew anyone who had used it. So it works pretty well?

I only use one thing " Eagle one " I use their Wax which first tried and loved it. After that I bought their vinyl and interior cleaners. I have not had a negative thing to say about their products.

Figgie, did you notice any outgassing (or whatever you want to call it) with the "Ice" product? I've noticed some cleaners will do that and leave the film on the inside of my windshield when it's baked in the sun.

It works nice. So nice that I use it on my leather sofa inside the house. Not only that, it does not smell nowhere near as horrid as the armor-all does.

No outgassing. It cleans but does not leave a shine like classic armor all. It is infact dull and the only way you can tell, the nice aroma. I ceal my windows with a chamoise btw.
