I prefer dogs over cats. I used to like cats more.........until I had to deal with the next door neighbor's, who shits on our back patio and leaves dead animals on our front porch for the 3 year old to find. Ready to invest in a pellet gun.......

I like 'em all though, as evidenced by my collection:

I'm def. a dog person. Right now, I don't have the room for one, but when I do, I will be in the market for a Siberian Husky with a blue eye. Red and white, or black and white doesn't matter to me. Until then though, I'll just settle for my cat, an Odd Eyed White with a blue eye.

I'll tell you Dunckel what I tell everyone that says they want a husky.

Be prepared to RUN that dog AT LEAST 4 miles EVERY DAY.

That said, we here at SupraCentral/DreamerTheresa-central, we have:
2 Akitas, Logan and Blaze:

2 Cats:
Newt:
(Mike's gonna hafta edit this post with a pic of Newt)

And my little sister's cat, Finnegan, who we inherited after she had her baby, and her boyfriend didn't like the cat sleeping in the bassinet.

A gaggle of chinchillas:
Here's a pic of one of my ribbon-winning males... I used to breed and show these guys. Now I don't have time or room any more. Which sucks. Because chinchilla babies are the cutest goddamn things ever:

Oh, snap, then there's our fishtank:

...I need a new pic of the tank. It looks nothing like that any more. More rock, more coral.

That's another reason on top of the other ones as to why I would like to have one. I mean c'mon, who wouldn't want one of these guys? Look at those feet.

Until then, I'm stuck with this...staring at me in the middle of the night.

As a groomer, I actually hate the hell out of huskies. All the ones I've dealt with are absolutely batshitinsane.

In describing the behavior, Mike has no idea what I'm talking about. Part of me wonders if living south of the Mason-Dixon line and dealing with hot summers makes a husky crazy.

I love Akita's. I want one when I get my own place...

We have a Basset Hound now. I love that thing too, haha. ( I know he has short ears for a Basset...)

So you are saying that Maryland is southern state!? I would have never expected that from a Georgian!! :biglaugh:

I love dogs. I can't stand cats especially cause I'm allergic to them. I used to have a Redbone Coonhound. They look pretty much like the Bloodhounds without the spots on the back. I like english mastiff but they slobber too much. I think I"m gonna get a Black or chocolate lab. next.

Dogs.
I've only owned one dog but my family over the years has around 10, all have been strays, except the 3 German Shepard's.
I owned a hound, named him Fido, and he was more Frankenstein than dog as he liked to get attacked by wild animals. He was around 14 when we had to put him to sleep, because out of the 120+ acres he had to run around on, he decided the road was the best spot for rabbits one day and some old lady hit him in a 15mph zone, I still think she did it on purpose. Anyways he had over 4,000 in medical bills and a grand total of 150ish stitches put in him from the 4 times he had his ass kicked by something wild on our land.

When I move to Germany, I want to get a Saint Bernard, always have liked those dogs.

I've owned a lot of dogs..From St Bernard to Cocker Spaniels... Doberman Pincher.. But there was only one dog I'd call a prick bastard, that was the dog I had to put down a few months back...He was a Lakeland Terrier (midget Airedale) and German Shepard..That dog was an asshole...but a lovable one

I love both cats and dogs and sadly had to give away my kitty when the little one was born :(

When we move out to a big property in the country later on this year, we will get a kitten (adopted from RSPCA or the vet), + a purebread Si Husky puppy (My aunt is a breeder), + a labrador puppy (not sure yet what colour).

Used to like cats also, had one for 18 years ,haven't cared for too many cats since he passed. Those Akita's are beautiful DT.The chinchillas are some cool little critters,my sister used to breed them, now she's into sugar gliders.
Done the fish and bird thing over the years, just too boring for me.
