i plan on running the harness through the driver side firewall.
can i use a soarer harness for this kind of job?
any info or advice would be great! thanks ps any one have a harness? lol:aigo:

I would just get a JZa70 harness and extended it through the passover side firewall, well wroth it.. I just did one about 1 week ago for a guy, he loves it.

yeah passanger is better i think.... no extra holes to cut... if you can get a jza70 harness then you my friend are lucky... seems like all the 1jz left out there and harnesses are jzz30 still do able but wiring it up is differnet...

look in the for sale section
dudes are selling 1jz stuff all the time.

haha you'll still have to extend the plug that connect to your guages which are but the original location.... so yeah you will still have to extend some things...

plus there's alot going on on the driver side ect pedal, wires, steering column, guages.... alot of things can get snagged and messed up.

at least you dont have to extend all the wires just a few, and it keeps the engine bay looking nice. i plan on taking it slow and steady, just want it to be done right.

if i cant find a jza70 harness, am i able to to hook up a soarer ecu and harness?

yea you can use a jzz30 harness and ecu but jzz30 harnesses usually have extra stuff that jza70 ij didn't like TRC... it's 2 extra plugs on the throttle body... so... yeah.
