I really enjoyed the series as I was growing up... and the original Dragonball was the best of all the series, all it starred was an unnaturally strong innocent child going up against what was thought to be an unstoppable force. From what I can see from the trailers and the plot outline thats been revealed so far online - it has really seemed to stray from the original formula that made Dragonball so great.

HeHe only movies after all... Plus Dragonball always had nice fighting scenes, I think that's why it was so popular. 2009 movies seem to have a nice list so far
