The power steering bracket appears to be to close to this sensor. I'm not sure if the sensor is wrong or the wiring is wrong or the bracket is the wrong bracket. This is a 7MGTE. Some nice pictures of other engines would help out immensely. Or if anyone finds themselves in the Surprise area, then feel free to stop by :biglaugh:

It just seems odd that they would design a plug that was forced into a 90 degree position with no way to pull the electrical connection off without having to take the bracket off. JJ do you know of a picture that someone took of the thermostat area and superimposed arrows and identifying labels onto it for easier identifiction? I saw it one night while searching through a bunch of threads and forums.

It comes off. Just have to finagle it some. Still a pain in the butt though.

I know the pic you're talking about but can't find it at the moment. I'm sure someone will come to my rescue. I don't keep it at hand because I long ago learned what each sensor does.
