alrite im planning on turboing my ge in a few months. and im checking out on how to run oil feed and return lines and i was changing my oil the other day and spotted this..i don't know what it is and what it does someone help.

ALSO! why wont my dip stick stay in!?!? you can push it in but after you run it (not even hard) it comes out and looks like this..

1: It's the pressure port for the Hot Climate NA Oil Cooler

2: Your motor has excessive blowby, a temp fix is bend the dip stick slightly where the rubber is under the cap.

As for your "new machined head" It looks like it's been bead blasted and this is not a good sign as it points to a BHG repair sometime in it's past and the head may be soft....

yeah i was the one hat fixed the BHG. in fact every gasket on the car has been replaced. in the engine of course. it kept running hot then finally let go so its good to go.
