ive had my MK3 for bout 3 weeks and ive been trying to look it up but i cant figure out wat this thing on my intake is. i dont see any sensors or wires goin to it. i no i seem like a noob but any help? its boxed in with an arrow.

thats it? it dont serv any other perpus? dose it just lake the air intake quieter or dose it do somethin else to

Let me start by saying there are many on this forum that are more experienced than I. However, I believe the resonator helps with air "pulses" that enter the throttle chamber for better flow. Good luck.
