I looks like a vent pipe for your heater/AC. However it doesnt' make sense for it to be on the opposite side. I have my interior completly removed right now, and I'll be asking myself the same question when I go to reassmble it

my best guess is the cabin temp sending unit, tells the heater when its up to temp when the heater is set to auto..??.

It's the interior cabin temperature sensor. The hose sucks air in, so the sensor gets quick readings. It uses a venturi contraption to create the vacuum for the hose on the climate housing.

Now it's been answered correctly I'll tell you what it really is.....

umm, yea, my N/A had a wierd looking round sensor-looking thing there, and I had always wondered what it was....maybe a light sensor for the headlights??

It's not the temp. sensor...that's on the front of the dash where those cutouts in the long moulding are to the left of the farthest passenger side air vent....I tested it with the cig lighter, because I was curious:biglaugh:

ummm i think your wrong though. yes the light sensor is uptop, but the picture in the first post is the temp sensor on the front of the dash right where you described it with the cig lighter.....
