Hey, sorry for the dumb question, but I searched and couldn't find anything on it, since I don't know what it is.

Under the wood in the trunk, on the right of the spare tire, there is a silver cap about 3-4" diameter screwed onto the metal with 3 screws. I took it off cuz I was curious and I had no idea what it was that was under it. Can anybody tell me what it is for?

And, before someone puts up one of those dumb "This Thread Is Worthless Without Pics" smileys, I will try to have them up by tomorrow so you can see what I'm talking about. :p

The access panel is to allow you to disconnect the fuel sender and pump so yo can drop the tank without pulling on the wires. its just access to the connections, not the units themselves

actually, you can pull out the fuel level sending unit. ;) but not the fuel pump.
