See if you guys can help me. ON my 5M... on the passenger side up toward the front on the side of the block kinda behind the alternator theres a port that doesn't have a plug. Probly for an oil press sensor. Anyone know what thread type it is? NPT? or BSP? I have a 1/8" BSP that looks like it wants to go, but won't start.

"Should" be BSP if it's an original hole.

Hey IJ,

That two hole blank off plate near the turbo drain on a 7M. Is it a pressure port or a drain? Do you know of any other unused block pressure ports on a 7MGTE besides the 1/8 BSP near the power steering pump? Thanx mate...

JJ: If it's the one below the Filter Boss It's Pressure, it's where the Aussie NA's are plumbed for the Oil Cooler.

There should be 3 x 1/8th BSP ports along the gallery.

1 at the front the the Pwr Steer pump

1 a bit further back for the Pressure Sender

1 in the middle near the Filter boss.

:3d_frown: it's sad IJ, when your junk block looks better than my in-use block(minus the rusted freeze plugs of course, or absence thereof).
