What is going on!? Help please

So my back tires are bald, thus causing me to get stuck on a slightly snowy road ha. After getting on to some Tarmac I noticed that my speedo needle is shaking. I'm wondering if this is foreshadowing of the dredded broken speedo cable. My dad said I should take the cable out and put some graphite in there to lube it up. Any suggestions on what it could be??

mine shakes when it's cold sometimes, but it very could be worn out. Matinence it and if it doesn't hold you know you need a new one.

Mine has had a slight shake in it as well since I've got it, still going shakey 4 years later.

Haha well all the snow was melted around here except for my buddies road somehow ha

Dont worry about it. Mine shook under 25 mph for 5 years. If it does snap its not that hard to replace.
