Alright. I have been curious as to what people think on here about having a " fart can " or single can on their Supra's versus a stock type dual tip muffler I personally wouldn't want one unless it was needed. The cars that I have owned that have had one on it were purchased that way.

I don't think Supra's were meant to have the single outlet, but that is just me.

I've had single canisters, an HKS sport turbo dual 3" tip exhaust, and on my new car, no mufflers, just a resonator in the middle and then out to twin 3" baffled/resonated tips. I honestly can go either way on this as long as it's done cleanly.

I have seen some Supra's in which I do like the single on it. Other times when I see those I would rather have the stock muffler on it then the single.

it depends on the muffler, angle, and sound.

hks ti and apexi i think look the best and sound the best as far as a round can. but i think the tanabe medallion's and greddy sp's are more of my taste. its all personal preference.

stock mufflers or stock looking mufflers with the lil tips look to wimpy.

I had the huge 4" tip and I hated it... Looked too ricey for my tastes, and the drone was a bit much on the freeway.

I now have a full 3" turbo back system with a twin tip muffler, and i think it suits the car much better looks-wise:

Dual pipes with mufflers under the car looks best. Since that isn't an option, two outlets flow more than one of the same size.

If I had to choose....both!! I'm with Kristel on the looks part. For performance need the fart can. I've come to like it.

I used to have a nice twin tipped muffler on my 89, but since I went turbo I went with a big fat single tip that sticks out too far..

I wanna switch it out for that Raptor Racing dual tipped exhaust, but I have to save up some funds...
