oh thanks for letting me know Eli. Is there a specific reason why you voted Maft pro? any downsides or things you didnt like in the map ecu?

ok

have you considered a fuel only computer like the Haltech F10x? :)

just something to think about. Out of those options you posted, I think I would give the thumbs up to the Maft-Pro.

Map ECU was fun to learn on but all in all, it's a glorified afc. Nothing wrong with it at all, and it lets you get rid of the stock afm. What I like about pro, is that it's got the features of the higher dollar systems but also has the timing control. I also like the fact that it's supported and sold by a mk3 guy. I've heard nothing but great things about it

oh yeah, and about the hks stuffs

I used an HKS VPC and GCC combo and it worked rather well, but datalogging is where it lacked. If you went with a VPC and AFC, I'd think there would be a lot more time on a dyno in your future than with a system that lets you make a pass or run and basically lays out your map
