ok guys, ive caught the bug.

im getting ready to start upgrading.
my plans are: (what i currently have but not installed)
lexus afm
suprasport elbow to match my 3" exaust
rx7 550 injectors
afpr
hardpipes/intercooler
walbro 255
hks crossover pipe
boost gauge
full tuneup, all coolant hoses, and replace those damn leaking valvecovers

can i run stock electronics if i stay below fuel cut?

anything im overlooking
i currently have a manual boost controller, a k$n air filter, stock(i think)ct26, stock(i think)7m with a newer hg and head. im not looking to get much more than say 450 hp, just want to wake it up a bit.

nothing has been installed yet, so it is a clean slate... and yes there will be a build thread when i start:icon_bigg

i do not know what hg was installed, i do not plan on a teardown till next winter. il deal with that problem if/ when it occures.
by something to tune with what do you recommend? i dont really want to piggyback as i eventually plan on a standalone.

He can tune to a certain extent using the AFPR. The Lexus / 550 combo will work for the now, but it'll run really rich. Don't expect good gas mileage until you get a proper system in there for tuning.

I'd suggest adding a wideband to that list.

To hit 350-400hp you will also need at least a 57-trim upgraded CT26, and an SAFC with tuning, and maybe a clutch to hold that power. I would limit it to 15psi and 350hp with careful tuning if you don't have a MHG. Get the MHG if you can afford it(which will require surfacing BOTH the head and block)

the turbo will come later this summer, hopefully so will a standalone. so i should not run without some sort of tuning device? or can i stay below fuel cut till i can get the stanadlone setup?
as for the clutch... atm i am an auto. im working on a r154 and a good clutch setup, but i still need a few parts and my tranny hasnt been built yet.....later this spring for that.

i have a wideband , just not in this car.... so il add a second sensor to the list
