MT, M&H, BFG, and I think Goodyear has a new one, But stay away from the nittos unless you want long tire life. Thats the only thing it has oveer the others. I hated my nittos.....

Has anyone tried the Nitto NT-01? The new Nitto drag radial? Looks like they improved it, and from what I read, its getting good reviews... And with a slightly stiffer side wall, it makes it more "streetable"... The thing I hated about my old MT drag radials was that the side walls were too soft and it would make the rear end "wander" on the street... *they were teh crappy MT's with the zig zag pattern, not the really GOOD MTs that people hook like nuts on*

I have used Nitto DR's and BFG DR's. The BFG's are great. They launch nice and smooth with me getting easy 1.8 60fts on a poorly prepped track. They have just enough slip to not shock the driveline to bad. My nitto's did not have nearly as much grip and they also had the tendency to cause wheel hop. I think the Nitto DR's are a great every day tire for people who are making over 400rwhp. Don't try daily driving a BFG DR, unless you plan on replacing your tires often.

If you just need an R compound becasue you lack traction but don't drag race(me) and could care less about 60' (me again) get an R compound street tire. Toyo RA1, Kumho Ecsta V70A and Victoracer, ect. I know the Ecsta is softer than the Nitto DR base on second gear rolls. The Nitto spun everytime.
