The horsepower was still climbing at 7000 rpm with a stock cylinder head, so it must be doing something right.
hey aaron, which one are you running.i was looking at the 2jz one for my mkIII,but not sure about the wastegate hitting the motor mount.really just worried about clearance in general

I bought one of these ebay cast T4 manifolds for the 7mgte overall the workmanship is excellent the design shit.and the problems were 1. we had to use 2 spacers for the turbo to clear the manifold this was after clocking the turbo for clearance and then had to use a garrett T4 anybigger houseing=another spacer.2The wastegate was in such a position that we put on a tube and then the wastegate at the position we wanted. Also if you do buy one check for slag carefully I took out some large chunks.Barry

I agree with Barry about the design of the manifold not being well planned out. You will need to make a custom dump tube and space the turbo from the manifold. None of the manifolds on the market seem to be designed to fit well on the mk3 though, they all require some sort of modification, so plan on needing to weld something reguardless of what you get.

Will this manifold work on a stock turbo if I made an adaptor?
My stock manifold is cracked and I gotta get one.

I am debating whether to buy a stock one now or just buy HKS replica cast one. I will be buying my Gt35R most probably in the next month.

Everybody complains about the turbo fitment problem that requires a spacer. It is not a design flaw. HKS designed that manifold to be used with an " on center" exhaust housing. If you use a tangental housing you will run into the problem of the compressor housing, If you use the proper housing you wont have a problem. It is just the opposite with the long runner HKS manifold. Also this version of the HKS mani was made for the MK2 supra, not the MK3.
