If your goal is 600hp, no matter what turbo you pick, no matter what engine you have, it's not going to get full spool til 4-4500.

Other then that, the price is decent. You'll need no less then 65mm to do your goal. Don't forget to buy a nice fuel system, ecu, transmission, rear end, and intercooler.

im at looking at picking up https://935motorsports.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=79_14_144&products_id=1320
but i am concerned about spool, what rpm will that spool up around? what of the 4 kits would be best for my5-600rwhp goal, if not a turbo kit from there then what turbo setup would u suggest

Thanks
Tyler

I like the power or street turbo as I am not looking to go beyond 450hp. This way I don't have to spend that much to keep up with the power increase. But if you have the dough go for it.

3sgte swap into my 03 corolla would be nice...:icon_bigg

I would suggest a smaller turbo to start with. The manifold will support bigger turbos later. Then upgrade your fuel / clutch / management first. You WILL get 500rwhp and that should be enough for now.

Then, you can upgrade to a 3.0L short block, and a bigger T67/T70 type turbo.

I think this would be more enjoyable then just getting a huge turbo kit up front, hitting fuel cut and having a small powerband.

I have always wondered about these kits as well. For example, if you check the Budget or the Street Kits, they say "everything you need to bolt on in one afternoon", or something.

How true is that?? I mean, the kits say they include this:
- Stainless Steel Manifold w/ T3 Flange
- Complete Oil Line Kit
- 62mm Turbocharger w/ 4" inlet
- Stage 3 T3 Turbine .82 AR
- 4" inlet Filter and Intake Kit
- 3" stainless steel downpipe
- 38mm Wastegate

That's the Budget one. The Street one has a different turbo (60-1 Turbocharger or GT35 Comparable Sized Turbo (T3 inlet)), doesn't mention including a Wastegate, but then it's all the same for $100 more.

But again, it also says "everything you need to bolt on in an afternoon". So again I ask, how true is that?

Say I have a stock 1JZ, with stock everything.. what else would I need to get, that's not included in this kits? I don't mean to hijack this thread, but I'm not aiming for huge HP numbers like tyler. Say I want the most possible on a daily driver setup, not on high boost all the time... I imagine one of these two kits would do (??)... I'm thinking maybe a stronger clutch would be needed if I add some more HP? But what else? Do I need to buy fuel management stuff for any of these two kits? Do I need to mess with the ecu? Get bigger injectors? Bigger IC? .... sorry for asking so much.

Ya know you can always call and ask!

A turbo kit includes EVERYTHING, including a wastegate and everything that you would need to drive your car.

I have been busy, so I have not had time to update the descriptions. I will do that soon I promise. A kit comes COMPLETE with everything. The downpipe is only a half downpipe, so that you can drive it to the exhaust shop and finish the rest.

We are not able to provide a 100% bolt on downpipe at this time.

For future reference, our kits include:

Manifold
Wastegate
Turbocharger with elbow pre-welded for 1JZ
Oil feed and drain lines
Plug for the rear feed
Half downpipe with 2 vband clamps and a section that is weldable
Intake pipe, coupler, clamps and air filter

The only thing you need to make it driveable is to adapt the turbo outlet to your intercooler piping.

You can then drive to the exhaust shop and have them re-connect your exhaust system.

(Mods if you want to move this to my section, that is cool)
