I have 2 7m-GTE blocks one is good other is not. 1 good crank 2 good sets of connecting rods 9 good std size pistons. I also have a complete non-turbo engine should i use the cams from the na motor? or use my stock cams i would like a little more power but would like to retain stock look outside. Car only has 87k on it and is mint. can i use the na block or should i stick with the turbo block i can see the diffrences on the outside but have not torn down the na motor yet was told poss hg issue

I'd use a 7MGTE block instead of a 7MGE block because the turbo block has oil squirters that spray the internals. I can't really say for sure, but there might be some things that aren't there on the NA block (like turbo oil feed outlet - don't know for sure).
