OK,


I thought that my car not holding boost was due to a blown Exhaust mani gasket, But then i noticed that when i accelerate under load,like if im on the highway at cruising speed and press on the gas like i wanna pass without downshifting it will hold boost steady, but if i take off from a light and floor it the whole time itll boost to like 1psi then drop back to 0 by shifting time .. I also thought maybe the wastegate was sticking open ,but that also didnt make much sense becouse i wouldnt have any boost even under a load! SOooooo im lookin for sugestions on what to do besides drive it into the river

What BOV are you running?

Everything is Stock..only mods are BIC DDP,and Test pipe! was bossting and holding steady at stock 6psi

it will only hold the boost under a load(re-read above)if i step on it from a light i get maybe 1psi...sometimes none!

sounds like the gate is actually opening too soon cause if it were sticking it would spike because there's is no path for the excess gas to go through. does it sputter is there a popping nosie that sounds like it's coming from the exhaust?

is this an automatic? do you mean it doesnt boost much in first gear? The stock boost gauge reacts slowly and in-accurately.

nope,no odd noises or anything.if the wastegate was opening too soon,it wouldnt hold boost when i press on it ligthtly?!?! or would it since im not poundin the throttle,but the turbo spools at a certain rpm range sooooo...shit i dunno
