Hey guys,can anybody explain to me what is suppose to kick the idle up on 1986.5 supra na,idles fine normally,but when i turn air condition on the idle goes down and stalls,annoying,i tried turning idle screw up on the little diaphram on tb but then it idles too high when air condition is off,im a old school carb guy,got a 870 hp trans am with a 950 hp series carb on it,but fuel injection is difficult for me to fix,thanks in advance,yall have been very helpful to old school guy,mmkkpro

Your idle air control looks to be failing and not doing its job any longer. Its right on top sticking out of the manifold, has a grey plug on it and should have a decent size vacuum hose also.

A bit late but idle is ECU controlled. In the case of AC the AC amplifier inputs a signal to the engine ECU that causes timing to advance and therefore idle to increase.
