As I know it, there are two seperate sensors for the temp circuit, one sensor sends a signal to the ECU for engine temp and the second sensor is used to control the guage on the dash. At the thermostat housing, the dash guage sensor is a single wire and is yellow-green.7mgtesupra said:
I would venture a guess that the ECU sensor has 2 wires based on this picture and troubleshooting step. They would be Brown and Green
