I am buying a car soon and wanted to make sure I have been looking at all of the ones I can. My budget is 14k cash and the car needs to by AWD and manual. I would like a sports car. So far I looked at the 2000-2002 Audi S4 and the Subaru WRX's. Is there any other options out there that I am not thinking of. Within my budget please, I know the sti is a great car but tooo expensive right know for me.
Thanks guys/gals

There are 4 All-tracs running around here locally, that's why they came to mind. They seem to be rather common in this area.Wasn't sure how much price-wise Evo's were, just a thought.
I just missed out on an all-trac recently, clean car, needed a clutch though. My buddies dad bought it ~4 years ago, lost his job and couldn't afford the payments or the clutch, let the lot take the car,he only owed$830 on it!

The only thing wrong with the Audi's is that they oil changes use 6-8 quarts of synthetic oil, which means every time you change your oil yourself it is costing you $100.

$100? Overestimation, IMO.

syn oil: 6.50/quart
7 quarts: $45.5

PureONE filter: $6

Total oil change: ~$50

It's the same as a supra, is it not?

Sorry I over estimated the cost. I had $100 stuck in my mind for some reason.

Cars to look at.

Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4
Subaru Impreza's (non STi, these can be modded the same way as the STi for a fraction of the cost)
Audi TT
Lancer Evolution

Back home from the car testing and I think I am going to go with the Audi s4, I found a really clean, nice one that had all of it's recommended maintenance done. including a $1000+ job (timing belt, tensioner, waterpump) new clutch- new brakes, 85kmiles 6spd silver on black. Offered at 12.8k (but i can get them down)

here is some pics.
