stock the cars go low 15s, high 14s. BPU they're all over 13s depending on the driver/track/etc.

This might help you: http://www.albeedigital.com/supercoupe/articles/0-60times.html

edit: I've got less than BPU (just downpipe, lower IC pipe, boost controller, HG, and SAFC), and considering the things I'm used to beating according to that list, I should be mid-high 13s when things are running right (clutch time).

You shouldn't be so concerned with who you can or cannot beat. If it hasn't sunk in yet, you drive a Toyota Supra Turbo, which makes you more respect-worthy than a lot of other guys (and girls) that are into cars. That alone is worth a shit-ton more than most other cars on the road. The Supra has always been a top-level Japanese (pure) sports car. Even at the time of the early MKIII's, they were being tested against Vette's, which was done for a reason. You should first take serious pride in being a Supra owner. From there, if you decide to modify it, whether it be mechanically or cosmetically, chose wisely. Do things the right way first, even if it means asking for help, and buy good quality parts. If you need to ask questions as far as any of that goes, ask away and soak up as much info as you can. Nobody on here, as knowledgeable as they may be, started out knowing what they do today. I'm not trying to give you a pep talk here, but I want to help you understand a couple things a little more clearly than you might have before.

Congratulations on owning a Supra and have a blast with it.

umm say what?

how does a car earn respect? Be it a Supra, Mclaren F1 or a Mercedes Benz CLK-GTR? It is an inanimate object the last time I checked.

you can beat cars that are slower than you. isnt that obvious?
i dont think you should think of it that way. there are always people who will spend more money and be faster, hell i have a 9 second 7m sitting in my garage right now, just havent put it together or ordered the parts yet. take it to the track/auto-x, it'll be a humbeling expiriance but also fun as hell. start modding it, you'll learn alot and have fun, start with the head gasket(thats what i did). congrats on buying the supra. great cars. good luck
