well it started a couple of days ago, it is the front right wheel, it only makes a nosie when i turn left and it sounds like the strut of the wheel bearing but i dont know, i took the tire off tire too see if i can see anything wrong or anything missing but everything looked normal. sooooo....... i am stumped on what is making the noise and i am hoping it is not the wheel bearing because i heard that it is hard to fix. so any help would be great thankz guys

it sounds kinda like something making a deep/loud knonking and it kinda sweaks/scrapping sound too and it sounds like it makes the sound at the same spot each time the tire rolls. hope this helps i will try to think of anymore stuff to narrow it down.

Is the sound when you have the wheel turned to full lock? If so, you should be ok. My car does the same thing and has been doing it since day 1... usually just on really tight turns or u-turns. I'll qoute someone else so you can't blame me if I'm wrong.

As per drjonez: "if you have noise @ full lock it is the plastic cap (or lack thereof) on the wheel stops. go buy it from the dealer for $1, cover it and the strike plate in grease and drive happy."

Jonez knows his stuff.

I had a similar knocking noise on mine and it turned out that the sway bar end link had not been re-attached appropriately. Whooops...
