well where to start...

bought an 87 n/a supra this past winter....i had plans on buying it and then parking it as a project but me being the tard that i am totaled my honda prelude....so now im kinda just balls out with this car cause i dont have time to play games so to speak...

bought the car which was almost riced beyond return....had led lights stuck to the bottom of the dash which add 10hp....had a jdm plate on the front bumper adds 5hp....and still has metal gas, brake, clutch pedal add on gay things which i havent gotten around to takeing off...but i couldnt handle the extra 15hp the rice gave me so i removed it thank god...

fag who owned the car before me siliconed the sunroof....i plan on filling the gap with tiger hair and bondo over it...best thing i can think of....no sunroof place near me will touch it.

.....................................................................................................................................................................................

shortly after i got the car it started shakeing once i hit 45 mph......sooooooo ruffly $2300 later i was ready to fix that problem

figured my problem was that 2 piece drive shafts FAIL!!!....too much can go wrong with 20 year old driveshafts with 2 million parts..

i bought a used w58 from tubbie (great guy btw)...cleaned her up all purdy...

sm_photo_missing.jpg

also bought a shaftmasters single piece aluminum driveshaft for the pimp factor...

and....bought a SHITLOAD of parts from A2motorsports (Thanks chris!!)

aisin pressure plate, fidanza/spec lightweight al flywheel, aisin clutch master/slave cylinders, ACT clutch disk, pilot bearing, and alightment tool..

sm_photo_missing.jpg

also from driftmotion i purchased the braided stainless clutch hose....it looks so fly from under the car....adds 12hp...im ready for big power now! dont have pics though.

from toyota i bought...a new boot that goes around the clutch fork and trans bell houseing, throwout bearing and i think some other shit..

.....................................................................................................................................................................................

so after i collected everything i could possibly need for the transmission swap cause my old transmission's tail houseing bearing was FUBAR......i finally pulled the car into the shop (work) and dug in....

i clocked out of work at 8:45 pm.....i finished the job with no major hang ups at 7am saturday morning....im a nightshift worker so yeah its not like i pulled an all nighter

it was a royal bitch getting the new transmission in alone cause i had no help.....it finally sliped into place after some choice words, blood, and sweat.....w58 transmissions arent that heavy but they get heavy real fast when you try to lift it over your face....

i didnt get pics of the process cause my phone was dead and i really didnt have time to bullshit cause i wanted it done!!

so its been about a month sense the trans swap and so far so good.....i did notice oil on the bottom of the bell houseing so i think the new rear main seal i installed is leaking so i may need to drop the trans again but im sure it will be much easier this time considering i know what im doing now....

finally got the car to 120mph with no issues at all other then it took forever to get there lol!!!

more to come soon....gots me some packages from A2motorsports on the way....stay tuned kids.

OH AND ALSO BOUGHT NEW WINDSHIELD TRIM FROM TOYOTA.....it was only $130....bend me over and fuck me in the ass why dont ya! lol

..............................................................................................................................................................................................

UPDATES WHOOO even though nobody gives a damn about my build thread lol

installed new brembo rotors all round with PBR ultimate ceramic brake pads....need to wait till my brake lines come in.

w58 will hold my power goals just fine.....only plan for 300-450 hp and refuse to drag race....ive driven a turbo supra sportin a w58 and it had plenty of power for a daily driver which is all i need....any more and ill kill myself or someone else.
