Weird hesitation

So I was doing a good strong first gear punch, shifted into second, barked the tires, then a split second hesitation, then she takes off again and barks em again.

It only does this at WOT between gears, doesn't seem to do it at other throttle points other than wide open throttle.

I searched and didn't find anything like this.

Wondering if I am having a fuel supply issue, but it was fine up to redline in first and was able to bark em going into second, hesitate like fuel cut, but then takes off strong enough to bark em from accelleration again in second gear. This is a shot in the dark but I really don't think this is the problem.

Tell me what you guys think.

Thanks

Wayne

I got something kinda the same at high boost (16+ psi). I'm running a Lex/550 set up with a Aeromotive FPR. I installed a Walbro FP and it fixed the problem w/ ~30 psi on the FRP (vac line connected). I still hit fuel cut at +18 psi boost :icon_conf

Are you letting the car warm up enough before you do this? Also I would recheck your BOV, I would almost put money that with your fuel set-up and an atomosphereically vented BOV your car is getting stupid rich inbetween shifts. Have someone ride behind you when you do this and look for black smoke(fuel) or even flames.

I thought the same thing about the fuel, but it did it before I put on the HKS and started venting to atomshere.

As far as letting the car warm up, yes, I have taken it up in the revs, meaning redline, only a handfull of times, and shifted it aggressively between 1st and 2nd even fewer times, but have always gotten the same result.

Talked to some people at TX2K6 yesterday and have some other suggestions-
1.---Check TPS
2.---Check plug gap, maybe blowing fire out
3.---Check plug wires

I will be busy today.

Thanks for the feedback. You guys always come through in a pinch.
