if you guys had to guess how much would you say my car weighs? after removing the whole a/c system, all the ps, all of the crap you dont really need under the hood. all of the sound deadining under the carpet, and the complete heating system? i think i weighed the ac stuff and it was around 35lbs, the sound deadining was 36lbs the heating stuff was 26lbs and the ps was about 5-10lbs. alll together about 100lbs not to mention the weight diff in the motor the 1g compared to the 7m. i know the 1g is alot lighter cuz my front end is really high off the ground and there is like a 6-8in. gap between the tires and the fender. just a random thought thats all.:naughty:

3100lbs is realistic for a gutted MKIII.

my 84 7M-GTE MKII is around 3000lbs

so, start by finding out what your car weighs stock, then go to the weight index, and subtract the weights of what you've removed, and make sure to take into account the weight difference between the 1g and the 7m. and i'm sure you'll find the approximate weight of your car.

ok i guess im dumb... where do you find the model number on the car? i know its a ma70L and it was an auto. so im guessing it weighs 3517 right? stock that is. so it would weigh around 3331lbs not counting the wieght diff. in the engine.
