Ways to Clean Up stock exhaust Manifold/Places to Buy NEW?

So i just put my order in for one of Alberts Billet 58trim CT-26 rebuilds and just wanted to be able to make my Exhaust Manifold look Cleaner/Pretty for the new turbo.


Is there a replacement CT-26 Exhaust Manifold ?

Whats the best way to go about cleaning the stock one and can i paint it with high temp paint?

I did this with a bead blaster. It took a while to get to the bare manifold, but it looked really nice. You can use high temp paint afterwards if you want.

If you blast it, take care what type of material you are using. Some will get embedded into the manifold and come out later, which will get into your oil system. The material I used was good sized and I still gave it a thorough air blasting afterwards.

high temp paint works wonder, made a night and day difference on the look of my car. Also clean up the heat shields and paint them up as well.

I used a wire wheel on mine when I did my HG job. Got rid of all the rust and makes it nice and shiny again (I used the 'silver' color).

Considering its iron it will rust crazy fast again anyway.

the Swain "white lightning" coating looks like it might be good. I dont personally dig the white but thats just me.

Or, after you blast the rust off, get it ceramic coated inside and out, so the heat stays inside the manifold, spools up the turbine nicely, and can be chrome look or like mine, flat black. Flat black is good to 1400 degrees. Van
