U get one thing fixed something else stops working !!!

THere this loud squeeling noise i dunno if it's the alternator i dont think it's a belt....i just finish wiring that little rad. fan in front of the rad. with a in cabin switch since i dont have the sensor for it on the thermo. housing correct me if wrong about all of this!

i also added high temp silicon hoses to the MBC and BoV i dunno why if at all this would make my BOv sound different since right now it sounds kinda off i check to see if it's leakin but no... it's a TURBo XS BOV/MBC

So basically this whinining squeeling noise and my BOV sounding abnorma [[[CCcchh]] is the sound

While the car is on put a little water on the belt and see if the noise goes away. If it does, the belt needs to be changed. If it doesn't I'd get a mechanics stethoscope and start from there.

Water should make it worse...

Also, you'd be pulling more amps, so higher load on alternator = harder to turn and slipping belt.

Silicone hoses on the BOV and MBC, make sure you ziptie the ends so they don't leak.

i think since he got new hoses, its probably larger, so its getting a better 'connection' to the intake manifold, which is why it sounds different... but yeah i would double check to make sure all of the lines are sealed.

As usual Poodles is right on target.

How is a bigger signal line to the BOV going to affect its sound? I would love to hear the logic behind this comment.

That assumes it wasnt opening properly before the hose change, in which case a larger diameter hose is irrelevant. A BOV doesnt read volume it reads pressure. Either way, changing the hose could only possibly affect when a BOV opens, not how it sounds...at least not any way I can imagine.

A leak is FAR more likely.

agreed. sound like the BOV isnt opening AT ALL. I suspect some zip ties will solve the problem (or the lines are routed wrong altogether)
