wastegate opens to soon

My wastegate seems to open to soon. It will boost good but, once it hits 11 psi the wastegate opens up and then I struggle to make boost after that. It will boost over 11 psi but it takes longer. Not sure what would cause that. Maybe the spring in the wastegate? Maybe it took a dump on me no pun intended. Or maybe my boost controller? I tried messing ith the boost contoller but nothing keeped the wastegate from opening too soon. look at my sig for mods.

Try disconnecting the boost controller and install a manual controller and see if that works. Maybe you have one of the lines going to the boost controller broken. I know that happened to me once.

What spring is in the wastegate and what does it boost? What is your boost controller set to?

If its not creep and just slow acting change the Set Gain to 2-3 psi below your desired boost level and it should come on faster. Also mess with the gain and it should be more responsive.

I'll retrace the hoses and see if thats what the problem is.

I don't know what spring it has. It's set to 17psi. It will get to 17 the only problem is that the wastegate starts to open at 11 psi. Ill mess with it on my way to work and see if that helps any .

You probably just fail at setting up the boost controller. Tweak the settings and it should be fine.

i also had trouble learning how to use my electronic boost controller (profec A hahahahaa) if you can get the user manual I recommend going through it.
