waste gate what shoudl i pick

well right nwo i am have bean dacing between waste gates liek crazy


so this is what i might think is good size for my pte 67 p trim

they recomnd at hpf 44 mill gate

i was think on runing a 40 mill

but i might bebable to get this 46 mill for pretty cheep plus it's tail

A bigger gate is never a problem.

A smaller gate can be.

I'd go with the 44mm.

so for 68 a 40 or 44 is good choice but this 46 mill is really cheep for me and it brand new tial

this is all so going to be dump as well so the size you pick plays a big role

i know the apexi avcr has a good duty cyccle control

this is my set up in nut shell

pte 67 p trim the biggest one they make in the p trim
curret hot side is a 68

runing 3.5 inc to 4inc dp and 4inc dp back to burns stainless race muffler

so going to a to big vavle might hurt me for spool since i am dumping

Someone educate us on the difference the size of the wastegate makes on performance.

How does it affect spool?
How does it affect the boost setting accuracy with a boost controller?
If you go with one that is too small it could surge right?
Can you go with one that is too big?

Smaller the AR the bigger the gate needs to be.....

If the Gate isn't big enough it can't slow the shaft speed enough to control the boost and you get creep.

the more boost u run, the smaller the gate u need...i have zero problems with the tial 38mm when im running 10psi or 20psi..i hit 10psi, it stays at 10psi. I hit 20psi, it stays at 20psi. Exacly what a wastegate should do.
