warped head?

AW MAN, The supra has gotten sooo loud, I thought It was the muffler but the muffler shop said Its a warped head that has to be resurfaced, is there a simple fix for this or is it time for surgery once again?

Sounds like you might have an exhaust leak. New gaskets should solve that. Start the car cold and immediately try to feel for exhaust leaking out around the manifold, turbo and O2 housing. Stand behind the car while someone revs it up once, that is the sound you need to be looking for. If you hear the sort of raspy exhaust from your engine bay then you've got a leak. It could also be coming from the catalytic area.
