Yeah so I just bought rear struts and strut tops from KYB to replace my old strut tops and so i could warranty my tokico HP struts. After torquing the struts down to the proper ft. lbs (20) i went driving. i was getting a little rattling from the strut tops not being tight enough, so i decided to up the torque to 30 ft. lbs (not unreasonable) As I was doing this, one of my strut tops CRACKED!!! Yes it cracked. All the sudden the bolt was spinning freely, and upon closer inspection, a ring all the way around the bolt hole had cracked. So my car is now undrivable, and I had to argue with some asshole on the phone at NAPA auto parts that yes they had cracked after driving the car 200 miles. So finally after arguing with some parts counter asshole for a while he ordered me new parts to replace my broken ones free of cost, but my car is now immobilized until friday. I should have known something like this would happen when i read "made in india " on the box :madfawk:
