"Search." Yeah..i know...thank you. Anyways, anyone know the bulb size I need in order to change the speedometer and everything else on the dash? Can someone link me to the specs they are using for their LEDs, and does the lighting dispurse evenly? I Dont feel like taking everything out in order to find out for myself again. Hopefully someone could be of some assistance. Cant wait to make the interior lights completely white with those sexy leds.

I've been told the LEDs distibute the light very poorly if you use the stock location.

I just ordered 100 10mm leds to place behind the gauges, in a totally custom setup, i think that's the only way to get a decent result

i hope you know alot about electrical theory or youll be frying a hundred perfectly good LEDs... its actually quite complicated to get LEDs runnin with the proper amount of power. 12v divided by 100 isnt very effective. set them up in paralel and your drawing alot of amps... im sure its possible, but it will be a wiring nightmare with lots of resistors involved.

Well it's not too complicated but you're right, the current must be limited (leds are still diodes remember).whether using 1 or 100.

The formula is system voltage minus the led's specified forward voltage (Vf) divided by the current desired (not to exceed the led's specified max current) equals resistance needed.

As for tail light or other applications where brightness is desired, one word: Luxeon.

haha, usa
Isn't there a member here that will change your interior lights to either red, blue, or white if you send him the parts along with whatever price he is asking?

the gauge cluster uses 194's and 74's. the 194 is the same size used for our side markers. the key ring, ands the courtesy light on the lower steering column(if you have one) are also #74.
