I have a friend of mine who took a walbro out of his Mustang. The unit is a gss340. The MKIII should use a gss341. The differences that I know of is the inlet is larger on the one out of the Mustang.

Any reason the pump from the mustang wouldn't work?? I will be using an adj FPR.. Here is a pic of the common pumps. The 1 on the left is what the mustang pump looks like..

Ok... I haven't dropped the tank and have no clue to what the bracket looks like. Does anyone have a pic of what the stock setup looks like from under the pump. I guess to use the gss340 I would have to cut the bracket for the pickup.. Not sure if the mod is worth 60 bucks savings???

i heard that on our car you have to attach the pump up with like wire or something it dosent mount right up in there
I think the wire is for extra support
i even did it but it does mount right up...sure it does.
