Ok, it's a standard truck transmission, with a 3.95 1st, and .85 5th...

Now, I've got a totally stock '88 Turbo, and I'm DYING to go 5 spd, but I've only got like $300 I can toss around on it over the next couple of weeks... I wouldnt' even be considering it, but the guy wants $100, and the W59 is actually BRAND NEW still in the TOYOTA box.

What do you guys think? Start going 5 spd? Maybe just pick it up to resell?

buy and resell at the least. maybe you could change bellhousings be good luck

youd have to get a new d/s. The toyota truck trannies have flanges with bolts on both sides and i dont think the crossmember would bolt up.
