Hey guys, I was a Mk3 Supra owner for a few months this summer as I bought one, fixed it up, then had to sell it. Had tons of fun with it in the process. Anyway, now I'm converting an '81 Toyota Corona with a 22R to manual trans and want to use the W58 as I enjoyed it.

So I need a useable but cheap spare trans anyone might have willing to let go. Perhaps somebody has one left over from their r154 swap or something. The salvage yards in my area are lacking in the Supra department and junkyarddog.com charges an arm and a leg.... they seem to think used parts are worth the same as NEW parts.

Assuming anyone has a W58 that I could come get or could be sent, would anyone have any recommendations on whether or not to rebuild it right away or specific things to check to make sure are working?

I'm located in Harrisburg, PA. Oh, I don't need a bellhousing as I'm going to have to find a W5x bellhousing to bolt the W58 to the 22R.
