Actually I fired it up saturday night, and we had some problems (my dumbass forgot to tighten the oil feed lines to the turbo-needless to say oil went everywhere). So $15 worth of oil later, it runs...and it runs fuggin GREAT. No engine codes (unless I stomp it, then I get a stupid ass code 52 knock sensor no signal). I am pretty pissed though. b00sted told me when I bought the motor there were 550's in it. Well...after firing the car up with the lex afm on there, and it not even idling on it's own, me and a couple friends got curious, so we threw a supra AFM on there...lo and behold, it idles PERFECT. 750rpms, 19psi oil at normal op temp.
Now onto the bad. The power steering pump on b00sted's motor is shot, another thing he didn't tell me. I guess I should've known since there was no resevoir and there was no PS belt...
Also, last night, took it out for a spin, and I had one of the tranny cooler lines hit the fan and it burst, leaving a trail of tranny fluid for about a mile. Thankfully we got it home (wasn't more than 3 minutes from the house) with no problems, save for a slipping tranny w/o fluid. Gonna go home tonight (Im at work right now extremely bored) and get a new line for the tranny cooler, and swap PS pumps. Hopefully updates to come tonight
