Quick question guys. I have a vpc I'm installing soon (couldn't pass on a great deal). I will be hardwiring it. I already know what to do, but I had a quick question on the best way to do it.
I understand that there's really 4 vpc wires that need hardwiring. Gray(AFM signal) Black(neg) Red(pos) and white(rpm). Since my S-AFC is already installed and tapped into the main harness, can I just (correctly) tap the Gray/Red/Black to the corresponding wires on the SAFC wire instead of hacking my main harness even more? I already know AFM signal goes from VPC to SAFC to ECU. I just want to make sure for the other wires that its common practice.

Thanks

I just installed a wideband on top of my SAFC. I soldered into the SAFC wires because there wasn't much meat left on the ECU side anyway. I didn't think twice about it, I don't see why it would give any problems. If you start connecting too many things I'm sure you'd need an amp or something to clean th e signal. As long as the wires aren't 200ft long I don't see that it would have a significant voltage drop.

Yes you should be able to use the S-AFC wires. Make sure the VPC is spitting the signal to the S-AFC and then to the ECU. VPC AFM out > S-AFC AFM in then S-AFC AFM out to ECU.
