Her car has caused me nothing but grief. I've treated it like family and it laughs at me when my back is turned.................:p

Her car cranks when it wants to, and now it doesn't want to. It hasn't cranked in about three days now. The dash lights come on, and you get the bells and whistles, but no starter. I'm sure it's in the alarm, but I feel I've tried everything. I've locked and unlocked the car a thousand times(maybe a hundred). I read the thread by Shaeff in the informative links. I tied the two wires together under the hood by the latch. I unplugged the box that I think is the alarm under the dash and then grounded the blue wire with the orange stripe. I don't know what else to try. I think I'm fixing to go to the service station and buy eight dollars worth of gas and burn it to the ground. (I did some calculations and apparently eight dollars worth of gas is the correct ammount to get the fire going pretty good) If you have any suggestions about where to pour the gas or how to fix this problem please post away..................:1zhelp:

I don't want it to look like this.................:evil5:

bury it and see if it rises back out from teh ground

There's no doubt in my mind that it would. It would do it just so I would spend more money on it. The motor is perfect, the car has no rattles, the paint is new, the tires are new, the wheels are new. It's still not content with all of that. It finds a new way to piss me off everytime I fix something else..........................:dunno:

I feel your pain SH, I really truely do. Ive finally had a full week of driving Lucy without some problem or another. They can just be biotches sometimes!

If cleaning the starter signal connection doesnt work, your gonna want to see if the wire is sending a signal in the "start" position. Just test it with a voltmeter while someone turns the key. At least that way you'll know if the problem is in the starter, or in the ignition circuit.
