Time for VIS to pony up a new hood and not to skimp on the glue this time. Sucks to see that bro. There's a vid on youtube of a SC300 doing the Texas Mile and his CF hood broke apart at like 150 MPH. There wasn't much left of it, just a small chunk where it bolted to the hinges.

If the court system is a fail and they won't do anything for you I wouldn't let it end there. I would make it my mission to let every enthusiast group they make a hood for aware of their shoddy products.

Seriously, three, four, five times a day, until they either have to replace your hood, pay you off, or stop picking up the phone. Be polite every time, and ask for some sort of reconciliation.
