That's pretty cool. Do they do that for all customers?

Ya, Jarco rocks. I was contemplating a 1j swap when my auto went out and they had one all ready to go for me. I may still have the video somewhere. I decided to just do a 5-speed swap though.

Just hope the motor was at operating temp when he was buzzing it that hard! :wuteva:
Ya me 2. Ya they do it for all customers, Jarco is an awesome company and definitely worth the extra money. The FMIC, all piping, and Blitz BOV only cost $400 more than a completely stock engine. I am not to worried about the condition of the motor because it has only 36,xxx miles on it.

The bad part about all the goodies is that the car was probably beat on for a short time.
That's true but im not to worried about someone being hard on an intercooler or a BOV.

its not the intercooler or bov that he's saying is worthy of worry.
its the fact that BECAUSE of them, the engine will live a shorter life.
and what was that light knocking in the beginning? seemed wierd.
but... a 36,000mi 1jz!!!!
sweet.
and, yes indeed. jarco rocks.
if only everyone else was this thorough...

how much was it?

nice clip ur going to get.
on another note mostly all 1jz/7mgte have a short time life. not to many stock jdm cars come to the us that were driven by some old lady to the grocery. lets be honest here alot of us beat our 7mgte, so the same should be tought of clips or engines that we get from japan. i got a vid of mines being driven, from jarco when i got mines. and my clip came with coilovers that where lowered to the ground. so i personally know that my 1jz is not a virgin engine. it was around some one who drove it like i will drive it. point said jarco did a compression test that i had asked for on vid and it checked out at 175 across the board so i cant complain.

You can see it on the dash when he gets into the car, I had to go back and watch it again. I went into jarco about a month ago and the guy showed me a front clip in the back that sort of looked like this one. Blue tubing and a complete lower and uper ic kit. It was damn nice, said he was going to be shipping it to some where in south carolina.. The place is pretty professional though. I love that I live 20 mins away from them :)

This particular clip cost $3400 w/out shipping (cost me about $700). A stock clip runs about $3000 both are prices from Jarco engines.

haha I can go and pick it up for free :) The guy said that I could buy a clip from them for 3k right then (plus tax).. I almost went for it, but I don't feel like paying another 2k for someone to put the engine in my car.
