so im thinkin of gettin a can of this shit and first starting to spay my front signals. should i smooth out the signals with some 1000 grit wet sand before i do so? same goes for the rear..would it be safe and a good idea to hit these lenses with some wetsanding?

also...anyone that has pictures..preferably a black mk3..please share.

just wash it really good and you will be fine.

i think there was a thread some where with details about this.

just do thin layers and wait a few mins between each coat. then finish with a clear coat spray. then let sit over night and wet sand the next day. not necessary but it's to make it look extra glossy.

and don't worry if u mess up, it will come off with paint thinner.

good luck

I just recently found out about that nite shades stuff and decided to do my tails and signals and what not. But before i did mine I had a friend tell me he wanted his stock eclips tail lights done, and he wanted them dark. So i looked around and found a really good step by step guide that helps a lot. http://www.350z-tech.com/zwiki/Tutorial:Smoking_Taillights Only problem i had is after i cleared it, three fairly thick coats, the clear came right off when i wet sanded. And i was verry verry carefull not to be too rough. So if you do this be extra gental when wet sanding and put on plenty of clear.
