VHT high temp paint???

I used it for heat shields.. looks good, doesn't fade. get the 1200* tho and hit it with a few coats.

I used something like that (may not be the same brand), but it was good for 2K degrees F and was for header wrap. It's still on the header wrap, but I did put a light coating on the down pipe prior to wrapping, that shit was flaking off after the first run...

Yep that is what i am looking for to use it on. engine parts but not exhaust. ceramic coatings, powder coating just cost to much, for me right now, and if this looks good i can run a rattel can :)

i m painted my heat sheilds and some of my charge pipes with bbQ grill paint for duplicolor said it last up to 1200F been on for about 6 months no chipping cracking or pealing looks just like the day i sprayed it. I really liked the fact it didn't call for high temp primer

yes, ceramic COATINGS shouldent ever wear off.

i have NEVER had good luck with high temp paints on headers or downpipes.

do it right, or dont do it at all.

see thats what its all about, prepping your work first. I've had no trouble at all using this stuff.
