I've been searching google for a long as time now and still nothing, was wondering if one of you video junkies knows how to do this, Im just looking to make the cable, I want to learn about it not just buy one(to easy) I've got everything I need, S-video cable, VGA cable, and the RCA converter. My laptop doesn't have a s-video out, but has a VGA out, and I want to connect it to my TV.

Because it doesnt have a VGA female. Its VGA to S-video or VGA to RCA, it doesnt take VGA to VGA.

I just don't feel like buying a VGA to S-video peice for $2, I would rather make one and learn something. I think I found something anyways.

My Computer does too, all 3 of them do, but the laptop is smaller and alot quieter.

LOL why? Cause I want to learn?
I could easily go to radio shack and buy one of these things.

I build most of my Home Theater stuff, unless its a major component.

I could pay the money and have a nice set up but have no clue whats going on to make it all work, or I could do it myself and know whats going on.
