well was checking out my supra i just got awhile ago and found that the frame is bent on it. About 2 inches we measured. Does anyone know how expensive it is to do this. i know i have to go to a body shop to have this done. Does having a bent frame means the car is juno and should i fix it and live with it. The body is soild and i just bought a new engine for it.

Thanks guys,
Tom

Agreed. These machines are quite capable.

By the way, keep in mind that SOMETHING bent it in the first place. If you're running a whole lot of extra power, it sounds like it's time to invest in some reinforcements to stiffen that chassis.

The Frame ??? what part you talking about...engine compartement X mesurment...or rear end ??? I dont understand where u get ur 2inches from.

Did they mesure from the bottom of ur car, and alligned ur center...be more specific where the 2inches are...

Prices will differ if its 2inchs in the X of engine compartement...or if your rear end is 2inches off...

Oh ya and 2inches...you get that from an accident...it dosnt just ''bend'' 2inches..no matter where. Specs say you should be withing 3 milimetres..so 2inches is MEGA

it was in a accident back in 1992 but i guess they didnt fix it right. its all in the front end. the passenger side tire in almost touching the fender and in the engine bay the left side where the fender meets the inner fender is bent down. soo ill have to see how much this is gonna cost me.

oof...i have problems beleiving the car ran with a 2inch smash on the front end...its pretty bad.

Cant you go back against the owner for selling a non-''legal'' car...this could be very dangerous...if you want, im sure theres a law against selling a car thats never been repaired ''proprely'' or against the bodyshop..you might get something good out of it. Like a free repair from another shop billed to the last shop. Here in Canada...this is what you can do. They have no choice but to pay up, since they did not fallow proper procedures..i studied in Autobody.

I just dont understand how everything ''fender and such'' lined up after a 2inch smash..you hood body lines are ok and all ??? is the smash aperant
