Verison and US Cellular... anybody know of a good family plan deal??

Our family wants to get a cell phone plan (3 people) but the prices on the two carriers Verizon and US Cellular, which are the best in our county, are rather high for us. does anybody know of some kind of one-time or ongoing promotional deal that's less than 70 dollars a month? or any type of state employee or educator/student benefits? I cant find anything for a 3 person family below 69.99, but figured maybe someone on here works for the company or knows something about a special way i can get a lower price....

we got Edge wireless but i dont even get service in my own home so i'm trying to help get us switched before we commit to something. I think its lame i dont get service in my own house...but maybe thats just me?

we will pay 30 a month for 60 minutes on each or 3 phones with Edge. not the best, but its cheaper than anything else.

does anyone know if i can get a special deal through US Cellular or Verizon?

this would help a great deal if anyone knows. thanks a lot!!

and no..there arent any other good services where I am...so i'm told. its not a big city so there are small cell places but these two do it best...

not sure about us celluar but verizon is a bit on the expensive side. for 2 people at minimum minutes for family plan and with text message (unlimited vzw to vzw) for 10 bucks each line i pay around $104 a month however i get 700 minutes. and now that i work at walmart i get a 20% discount off my phone bill so now it should be even less.

are verizon and us celluar the only phone companys out there? maybe check with sprint theyre decent and Tmobile has some pretty good deals, last time i checked.

I have US Cellular and it sucks ASS!!!!!!!!!!! BAD

I have had At&t ,nextel and verizon . Verizon is 4 times better service than the other two. I am on and old plan 1000 mins for $59.00 + taxes had it for 3 years.

Sadly we're in an area where apparently only Verizon and US Cellular work well...the others don't.

and we wanted a family plan so we can always talk to each other but maybe i'll have to check up on 2 person plans. then again i think 70 dollars is for two and three people is even more... damn it.

I dont think i can work it on 60 minutes a month. i guess i could if i JUST use the phone for contacting when i have to and no chit chat. which is what i need it for.

they're SO milking us for $$. i hate cell phone companies.

verizon is by far the best company that i have ever dealt with. and they take pretty good care of me whenever something breaks or whatever. theyre just as good as they are expensive.

well we still have edge, and no coverage worth mention in our house (it comes on sometimes but its sporatic and totally random)

but now we upgraded to 1000 minutes for 3 phones and we pay 70 a month. not bad i guess. so verison is sadly 10 dollars more and until i get a job i'm told i get to stick with edge. unless verizon is the same price...but i believe its 80 for 3 people.
