Finally got my 3" GT-II exhaust in today. It was on the car tonight. Also, I have a few videos mode.

This first one was how it all started. Yes, my fiance has a very light foot. At this point, the exhaust consisted of: Stock manifold, empty cat, and crush-bent 2.5" cat-back with a Magnaflow muffler:

Then, I installed an OBX racing header, modified by Robert @ 935 Motorsports.

Here you can hear it at a bit of a distance. Not a bad burnout, either!

Well, after that the crush bent setup started to hit the subframe when I went over bumps. So, I got an RS*R GT-II. IMO, this is the best cat-back for the MKIII, hands down. Very few bends, and they're very slight.

Here's the video of my first time firing it up with the GT-II:

Well, I didn't like it as much as I thought I would. It seemed too quiet. So I took the silencer out!

It sounds like a BEAST at WOT on the freeway. I'll post up THAT video tomorrow, after I make it.

I tried, actually. I unbolted everything from the header pipe back and then reinstalled. That's as tight as I could get it. :aigo:

Get a test pipe and cut it short. or I think the 1J cats were shorter so that might work.

*edit.. you are going 1J so no matter.
