Valve covers

Do 7mgte valve covers fit on 7mge's?
And the cam covers, do gte's fit ge's?

Yes and Yes.

They will fit both heads just fine...but

The 7M-GE covers has the "slot" further back for the "Y" pipe to go to the throttle body. The 7M-GTE has the "slot" more forward for mounting the coil packs. So you really can't interchange them.

valve covers and cam covers are the same thing.

if by "cam cover" you mean the caps, then no, unless you have them line bored. that applies to swapping caps even from another gte

I have an extra set of ge valve covers that I'd like to install on my gte but I didn't think it was possible because of the coil pack mounts. Has anyone done this, because the ge covers look alot cooler.

Pat: Just mount the coilpack at the firewall. It looks a lot better back there out of the way anyhow...

no but its one of the very many things im planning on working out on my motor.

Im also going to fab up a spark wire cover like the 1J and 2J have
